Common questions
Executive Edge starts from £750 per month for a monthly coaching retainer, or £175 per individual session. There are no long-term contracts — one month's notice to cancel on monthly arrangements. Pricing is transparent and discussed fully during the free Discovery Call.
Most leadership development is built for organisations — standardised frameworks, group workshops, competency tick-boxes. Executive Edge is the opposite: entirely private, entirely personal, built around your specific situation, challenges and goals. There are no slides, no workbooks, no cohorts. Just a rigorous 1:1 conversation with someone who has led organisations, built and scaled a business, and coached senior leaders across FTSE 100 environments. The conversation goes to places that corporate programmes can't.
Completely. Everything discussed in coaching sessions is confidential. This is non-negotiable — the value of the coaching relationship depends on it. Daryl works with leaders at the most senior levels precisely because they know the conversation will not leave the room. If your employer is funding the coaching, the content of sessions is never shared without your explicit consent.
Executive Edge is designed for senior leaders and high-potential managers who are ready to lead at a higher level. This includes C-suite executives, directors, VPs, department heads and ambitious managers within 1-2 steps of a senior leadership role. The work is most effective with people who are already performing well but sense they're operating below their potential — or who are stepping into a significantly bigger role and want to get there faster, with fewer wrong turns.
Engagements typically run from 3 months (for a specific, defined challenge) to 12+ months for longer leadership development journeys. There is no minimum — you stay as long as the coaching is adding value. Most clients find that the first two or three sessions alone are enough to shift their perspective significantly, and continue from there.
Yes, and many clients' coaching is funded by their employer. Daryl can issue invoices to a company directly and provide whatever documentation your HR or L&D team needs to approve the spend. The coaching relationship itself — including all content — remains entirely between Daryl and you.
Yes. All coaching is conducted by video call, making location irrelevant. Daryl has worked with leaders across the UK, Europe, the US and internationally. In-person sessions in the UK can be arranged on request.
